Leadership Institute
If/When/How’s annual Leadership Institute (LI) is our exciting and powerful two-day conference wherein we invite student chapter leaders to convene and build their capacity as reproductive and racial justice advocates. Attendees can expect a lively, transformative weekend full of community building, peer support, and professional development. The LI provides a space to network and attend skills-building workshops, plus panels and resources that will empower If/When/How chapter leaders to take reproductive and racial justice back to their campuses and communities.
We want to make sure that the future of lawyering is accessible to everyone, which is why If/When/How funds accommodations and travel to the Leadership Institute for a law student leader from each of our nearly 100 chapters across the country. Students have the opportunity to learn from current leaders in the movement, to build power with far-flung peers, and to recharge with a supportive, enthusiastic community — something we know doesn’t exist at every campus.
Reproductive justice depends entirely on if, when, and how hard we fight — and how well we equip the next generation of leaders with the powerful tools they need to make lasting change. If you’re a law student interested in getting involved with IWH, reach out to the IWH national office.
