RJ Lawyers Network
Ready to lawyer for reproductive justice?
If/When/How’s RJ Lawyers Network is a powerful nationwide group of pro bono legal professionals who are mobilizing against attacks on reproductive freedom, growing with each other as reproductive justice advocates, and bringing reproductive justice values to their everyday work. The RJ Lawyers Network is an integral part of supporting If/When/How’s five strategic initiatives: decriminalizing self-managed abortion, eliminating barriers of parental involvement laws and judicial bypass, overturning Harris v. McRae, enhancing birth options and experiences, and eliminating welfare family caps.
To strengthen this network, If/When/How offers CLE’s, professional networking opportunities, and other resources tailored specifically for people with legal education and backgrounds so that wherever you are in your career, whatever your skill set, and wherever you live, there’s a place to plug in.
"Prior to connecting with If/When/How while I was in law school, I had no idea that I could use my legal training to advance reproductive justice through policy advocacy. Because of If/When/How and the Reproductive Justice Fellowship Program, I have developed innumerable skills through the training and network-building I was able to do as an RJ Fellow. My RJFP experience laid a strong foundation for my reproductive justice lawyering career and showed me how to use the power of the law to advance reproductive justice."
