Self-Managed Abortion and the Law

Learn more about the legal rights people have, and risks they may still face, when accessing abortion care throughout the country. If/When/How staff Laura Huss, Elizabeth Ling, and Kylee Sunderlin will discuss past prosecutions, the current legal landscape, and how to fight for future change.

In this session, we’ll cover:

-The criminalization of self-managed abortion, including If/When/How’s new research on the effects of criminalization in the last twenty years
-The post-Dobbs legal landscape and what the laws say (and don’t say)
-Information and resources to help challenge this state violence
