From Kimya Forouzan, Vice President, If/When/How Board of Directors:

If/When/How reaffirms our opposition to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. We are disappointed to see the righteous, historical struggle for justice and equity ignored to prioritize continual opportunities for those who abuse their power and privilege. At If/When/How, we believe survivors. We believe people of color, immigrants, LGBTQIA folks, disabled individuals, and every marginalized and oppressed person whose lived experience has been tossed aside in favor of bestowing unearned power upon an unqualified man. We lift up those who have the most to lose with Kavanaugh’s confirmation, and we recognize and honor all they have given in this fight. At If/When/How, we will continue to fight for reproductive justice and to change the face of lawyering — no matter how hard opposing forces, whose politics are rooted in fear and bigotry, may push back.
